Terms of Service — Reignite

    The short version: You must be 18 or older to use Reignite. Be honest, be kind, and use the app for its intended purpose — strengthening your relationship. We provide tools; your relationship outcomes are up to you.
  

Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using the Reignite application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kiss & Wake Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Ontario, Canada.

Eligibility — You Must Be 18+

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Reignite. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to terminate any account we believe belongs to a person under 18 without notice or refund.

Reignite is intended for use by adults in consensual romantic relationships or by adults seeking to improve their relationship skills. Use of the App for any other purpose is not permitted.

Your Account

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and truthful information when creating your account
Keeping your password secure and confidential
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at support@touchfirst.love

One account per person. You may not create multiple accounts or share your login credentials with others (the partner-linking feature handles shared access through its own proper mechanism).

Partner Connection

Reignite allows two users to connect as partners using an invite code. By connecting with a partner:

You agree to share certain app activity with your connected partner as described in our Privacy Policy
Your partner will be able to see Honey-Do tasks, gratitude messages sent to them, and shared challenge progress
You can disconnect from a partner at any time through Settings

One subscription covers both partners in a connected couple. The subscription owner (the user who created the couple profile) is responsible for the subscription fees. The invited partner accesses the app under that subscription at no additional charge.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person through the App
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Attempt to access another user's account without authorization
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code
Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited content
Use the App if you are under 18 years of age

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

Content You Create

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App — including journal entries, gratitude messages, task descriptions, and wish list items.

By creating content in the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the App and delivering it to you and your connected partner. We do not claim ownership of your personal content and will never use it for advertising purposes.

Mature Content

Reignite contains content of a mature, intimate, and adult nature including:

Content related to physical and emotional intimacy within committed relationships
Science-based discussion of human sexuality and relationship psychology
Features designed for adult couples to explore connection and intimacy

This content is intended for consenting adults in committed relationships. All intimate features are designed to support healthy relationship connection. The App does not contain explicit sexual imagery.

By using the App you confirm you are an adult and consent to accessing mature relationship content.

Relationship Coaching and Professional Services

The App facilitates bookings with independent relationship coaches including Allyssa McIntosh, M.Ed. These services are:

Provided by independent professionals, not by Kiss & Wake Inc.
Not a substitute for licensed therapy, counselling, or mental health treatment
Not emergency services

Kiss & Wake Inc. is not liable for the advice, conduct, or outcomes of third-party coaching sessions booked through the App.

AI Features — Cupid

The App includes an AI-powered relationship assistant named Cupid. You acknowledge that:

Cupid is an AI tool, not a human or licensed professional
Cupid's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate
Cupid is not a substitute for professional relationship counselling or therapy
Conversations with Cupid are stored to provide conversational context — see our Privacy Policy for details

Subscriptions and Payments

Currently, Reignite offers a free tier. When paid subscription tiers are introduced:

Subscription fees will be clearly disclosed before purchase
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies for app purchases, or our direct refund policy for web purchases
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

The App will always be available or error-free
The relationship practices suggested in the App will produce specific results in your relationship
The App is suitable for every relationship situation or dynamic

Relationship outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Reignite provides tools and content — what you do with them is entirely up to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kiss & Wake Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kiss & Wake Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
